Zomba City Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified Malawians for the vacant post of Driver (Grade A) existing at Zomba City Council:

 Post                 :           Driver (Grade A)

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Driving Council vehicles.
2. Conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure that they are in good condition, up and running
3. Reporting any faults on vehicles including accidents
4. Maintaining log books
5. Checking water levels in the vehicles
6. Cleaning vehicles
7. Checking and ensuring availability of vehicle accessories in the vehicle

Minimum Education Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must be in possession of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) plus minimum of Class C driving license, with at least 2 years experience as a driver. Those with Defensive driving certificate will have an added advantage.
