Masongola Ward: Masongola ward covers areas of Malonje, Old Naisi, Ndangopuma, Mulunguzi and Mangasanja. This ward is the is the oldest part of the city and is known for its colonial buildings of unique architectural designs. Its is also where the old parliament building and also “Top Hospital” which used to be Zomba Central Hospital before it was moved.
The current Councillor for Masongola Ward is Councillor Anthony Gonani
