Citizens of Zomba have been urged to use this rainy season productively and plant more trees in their homes, workplaces and schools to sustain the greenish outlook of Zomba.
The initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG13: Climate Action, and SDG 15: Life on Land. By promoting urban forestry and community engagement, Zomba city is taking a proactive approach to address challenges brought by climate change and creating a sustainable future.
